BARÜ 5th R&D Project Market applications started
Applications for the "R&D Project Market", where Bartın University (BARÜ) brings together science and technology enthusiasts, have started to be received from the website "projepazari.bartin.edu.tr".
One of the most important science and technology events of the region, Bartın University (BARÜ) "R&D Project Market" excitement is starting again. Within the scope of the event, which has been held with great interest since 2017, a record number of applications are expected this year as well. It is aimed to contribute to the National Technology Move with the organization organized to raise awareness about science and technology and to enable young people to focus on developments that will shape the future.
Project abstracts can be sent until October 10, 2022.
Applications for the project market, which was organized in the focus areas, especially in the specialization area of "Smart Logistics and Integrated Regional Applications" of BARÜ, started to be made on the website of "projepazari.bartin.edu.tr". In the competition, where project summaries can be sent until October 10, 2022, the preliminary evaluation results will be announced on October 17, 2022. In the event to be held on 03-04 November 2022 at BARÜ Kutlubey Campus, potential business partnerships will be established by bringing together the project owners and sector representatives. As a result of the evaluations made by academics and sector representatives, the project owners who are ranked will be awarded more than 40 thousand TL in total.
The themes of the competition have been published
The themes of the BARÜ V. R&D Project Market event were determined by the Scientific Committee composed of representatives from different universities and sectors. Competitions will be held in various disciplines and categories in the event, which aims to raise awareness about Turkey's transformation into a society that produces national technology.
In this context, "Smart Materials and Industrial Applications", "Smart Technologies", "Cloud Technology", "Big Data and Analytics", "Digital Transformation", "Energy Technologies", "Additive Manufacturing", "Chemical Technologies", "Internet of Things" ”, “Autonomous Robots”, “Cyber Security”, “Simulation”, “Sustainable Environment and Urbanism” and “Horizontal and Vertical System Integration” were included. In addition, projects will be included in the V. R&D Project Market and High School Category.

Noting that BARU is working with all its components to add value to the National Technology Move, Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun said, “As it is felt more and more today, the basic condition for countries to be big, strong and independent is to be good at science and technology. While the countries that produce, design, develop and export science and technology are walking with determined steps towards the future, countries that are only users cannot guarantee their freedom in any area. At this point, we, as Bartın University, continue to contribute to the development of our country, which is proudly marching to the future with the "National Technology Move" that has become flesh and bone. With this determination, we are excited to reach the 5th year of the R&D Project Market journey, which we organized for the first time in 2017. We trust the local and national, we believe in our young people who will build and revive our future. We invite everyone who says 'I have an idea' to the 5th R&D Project Market event of Bartın University.
