End-of-Semester Evaluation Meeting Held in the Department of Midwifery
A face-to-face end-of-term evaluation meeting was held on June 4, 2026, for first-year students and on June 5, 2026, for second-year students of the Midwifery Department at Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences, by the Head of Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hacer YALNIZ DİLCEN. During the meeting, a general evaluation of the academic term was conducted, and students' opinions, suggestions, and expectations were heard.
Discussions focused on course delivery, clinical and practical training experiences, educational material needs, and departmental activities. In addition, potential activities for Midwives’ Week, community awareness initiatives, and strategies to enhance student engagement were evaluated.
Students shared suggestions concerning participation in scientific congresses, the organization of practical courses, first aid and occupational health and safety training, as well as other activities aimed at supporting their professional development. The meeting provided an opportunity for constructive dialogue and emphasized the importance of active student involvement in the educational process.
Faculty members of the Department of Midwifery expressed their appreciation for the students’ valuable feedback, noting that their contributions would play an important role in further improving the quality of education within the department. The meeting concluded with discussions and planning for the upcoming academic term.
