Faculty of Health Sciences Graduated Its First Students

The Faculty of Health Sciences graduated the students of the Department of Nursing, which started education in the 2019-2020 Academic Year, with a ceremony that started on the Kutlubey Campus on June 10, 2023, at 17.

 

The graduation ceremony started with the cortege march of students and lecturers from all faculties and vocational schools of our university. After the cortege walk, the Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. Orhan UZUN, made an opening speech of the ceremony. Rector Uzun, who started his speech by commemorating our citizens and students who lost their lives in the disaster we experienced on February 6, emphasized science and technology-based development. In addition, by emphasizing the value that our university adds to our country and the pride and happiness of achieving together, he stated that we will continue to add value to the Turkish century and succeed together.

 

At the ceremony, which was held with great interest, awards were given to the students who ranked high. The first prize of our faculty, İlayda YILDIRIM, the second İrem ALBAYRAK and the third Yasemin KÖKSAL, were presented to the Vice Rector of our University and Dean of our Faculty Prof. Dr. Sevim ÇELİK and Justice Commission President Harun CEYHAN. After the undergraduate and associate degree winners of our university put their names on the age log, they took the graduation oath. With this countdown, the caps were brought together to the sky.

 

At the ceremony, which was held with great enthusiasm and joy, 3 thousand 666 students graduated from our university, while 62 graduated from our faculty. We are experiencing the joy and pride of graduating from the first students of the Nursing Department of our faculty with great effort at the end of four years.
