Midwifery Department Welcomes the New Academic Year with a Breakfast Event and Opening Meeting
On September 23, 2026, the Department of Midwifery at the Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences held a breakfast event and a semester-opening meeting to mark the start of the new academic term.
The first part of the program featured a breakfast event designed to help first-year Midwifery students adjust to the university and departmental environment while strengthening their communication with faculty members and peers. Held in a friendly atmosphere, the event allowed students to meet with the dean's office and department faculty, ensuring a pleasant start to the new academic term.
Following the breakfast, a semester-opening meeting was held with the students. During the meeting, the new academic term was discussed, and students were informed about educational processes, academic operations, departmental activities, and planned initiatives for the upcoming term. Emphasis was placed on the importance of active participation in scientific, social, and cultural activities that support students' professional and personal development alongside their academic success.
Additionally, students were given the opportunity to share their views, suggestions, and expectations, fostering a dialogue aimed at strengthening communication and cooperation between faculty and students. Hopes were expressed for a successful, productive, and high-quality educational experience for both students and faculty in the new academic term.
