“Midwifery for a Sustainable Future” panel was held on 22.04.2022 by the Midwifery Department of our Faculty as part of the 21-28 April National Midwives Week and 5 May International Midwifes Day. Hacer YALNIZ DİLCEN, Head of the Midwifery Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences, who opened the panel, mentioned in her speech that “We all need to be aware of the measures that can be taken for better mother, baby and birth services”.
Important issues regarding the midwifery profession were discussed by expert guests.
Talking about the history of midwifery and the development process of the midwifery profession, Ege University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Midwifery Lecturer. Member Dr. Birsen KARACA SAYDAM and sharing impressive information about midwifery education and the future of the profession, Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Midwifery faculty member Dr. Instructor Member Yeliz ÇAKIR KOÇAK made her presentations.
