Peer Mentoring Promotion Event was Organised for the Nursing Department Students of our Faculty


Peer Mentoring Promotion Event was held on 08 October 2024 by the Nursing Department of our faculty. A total of 76 students participated in the event. The peer mentoring programme is carried out to facilitate the adaptation processes of new nursing students to the university, education processes and profession by providing communication with third- and fourth-year students. In this context, in the event organised for nursing students, Lect. Eda KES gave information about the functioning of the Peer Mentoring Programme, the concepts of mentor and mentee, the contribution of peer mentoring to students' personal, social, and academic success, and program applications. The event continued with the experience sharing of Nida Nur KARAKAŞ, a mentor in the 2023-2024 Academic Year Peer Mentoring Programme. The event ended after the students' questions were answered.
