“The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Health Care System and Nursing; Opportunities, Threats and Ethical Dilemmas Event” Online Seminar was held at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Organized by Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences and attended by Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Department of Nursing Education faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gönül Bodur as a speaker, "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Health Care System and Nursing: Opportunities, Threats and Ethical Dilemmas" was held online on April 25, 2025. The seminar was moderated by Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing faculty member Dr. Lecturer Hande Yeşilbaş. Prof. Dr. Hande Yeşilbaş was the moderator of the seminar. In the event, lecturers and students were provided with comprehensive information on the place, effects and usage areas of artificial intelligence in the health care system and nursing field; national and international researches and sample applications were included. In addition, the role of artificial intelligence in nursing education was evaluated, the opportunities it brings to the profession and the threats it brings with it were discussed. Ethical dilemmas arising due to the use of artificial intelligence technologies were addressed. Our event ended with the questions-answers and contributions of the participants.

  • The Fourth First Aid Training organized at the First Aid Training and Instructor Education Center has been successfully completed.

  • A Booth Event Was Held in Collaboration with Our Faculty and Bartın Public Health Center Education Unit as Part of the April 1-7 National Cancer Week.
