"Training on Occupational Accident Prevention and Notification" was held at Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences.

Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences Lecturer Research Assistant Dr. Necmiye Çömlekçi conducted "Occupational Accident Prevention and Notification Training" for undergraduate students on November 27, 2023. In the training, the concepts of occupational accident, near-miss, occupational health, and occupational safety were emphasized; physical, biological, chemical, and psychosocial risk factors for occupational accidents in health workers and ways of protection were discussed. In this context, the articles regarding the rights and demands of healthcare workers in Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510 and Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 were discussed. At the end of the training, the "Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences Incident Notification Form" and "Bartın University Faculty of Health Sciences Near-Miss Incident Notification Form" were shown, and it was explained how the process should proceed through case studies. The training was finalized with a question-and-answer activity.
